The +Resilient scaling up workshops in Istria were held in Pula from June – September 2021 and were organized by the two Croatian partners in the project, Foundation for Partnership and Civil Society Development and the Public Institution Regional Coordinator for European Programmes and Funds of the Region of Istria. The workshops were held as part of + Resilient project, co-financed by the Programme Interreg MED 2014-2020.
The workshop „Social impact measurement and management“ gathered stakeholders from different sectors interested in evaluation and measurement of their organisational social impact - from the economic-financial aspect, social aspect and environmental aspect. Social impact measurement and management is becoming a very important business function and civil society organizations and social enterprises want to measure and evaluate their own social long term impact.
The workshop „Testing and validation of social business models in Istria“ was compound of testing the key hypothesis of a social business idea and showed whether the solutions developed are the right response to beneficiary's needs and whether the business process is sustainable.
The two workshops were organized for civil society organizations, private companies, public sector, university and individuals from Istria with a social entrepreneurial idea or business plan and want to test its sustainability, effectiveness and impact. The workshops were led by social economy experts Teo Petričević and Darko Ciglar from the ACT Group.
